Yasin Mustafa2024-12-10I’ve been a patient of Dan's for just over a month, and in that short time, he has successfully resolved both of my long-standing issues. To put it simply, Dan is a consummate professional and an expert in his field. His ability to communicate clearly and explain everything in a way that makes perfect sense is exceptional. One particularly impressive tool he uses measures strength and displays the results visually on a graph, allowing you to see exactly where weaknesses lie compared to the unaffected side. That's the short version, here's the longer version and my story: I had stopped running for several months due to persistent injuries and had been seeing NHS physiotherapists without success. Canceled appointments, long gaps between sessions, and exercises that did nothing for my pain left me frustrated and disheartened. Issue 1: Left Glute/Hamstring Pain Initially, I suspected the issue might be related to my back (possibly sciatica). However, during our very first session, Dan ruled this out and confidently assured me I’d be running again within a few weeks. At that point, even walking was painful. Dan prescribed targeted exercises and we began with weekly appointments. Incredibly, within just three weeks, I was jogging again—and soon after, I was back to proper running. As I improved, we reduced the frequency of appointments to every two weeks. By the next session, I was completely pain-free in my left leg. Issue 2: Right Knee Pain Once I was running again, an old issue—right knee pain—resurfaced. This had been troubling me on and off for around 18 months, despite previous treatments with NHS physios that yielded no improvement. Dan quickly identified the root cause during our first consultation: an imbalance in my right foot muscles, which was forcing my knee to overcompensate. He prescribed a simple daily exercise using resistance bands. In just one week, the pain had disappeared. I was able to run both 5k and 10k faster and harder than the preceding weeks—completely pain-free! The Results My recovery has been nothing short of miraculous. After 18 months of struggling, I can now run pain-free and feel stronger. The impact has gone beyond just physical benefits—my mental health has greatly improved too. Being unable to run due to constant pain was making me depressed, but thanks to Dan, I’ve regained both my fitness and my happiness. If only I had found him sooner! Thank you, Dan, for your expertise, support, and for genuinely caring about your patients. I can’t recommend him enough—keep up the fantastic work!Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google.
